Day 1 | 3 Days Quotes Challenge

I’ve been nominated for the 3 Days Quotes Challenge by 5 lovely bloggers – Pinkpeeli, Sgeoil, Nafeesah, Zovi and Kaby. Since I’m away from the luxury of home and with only limited internet facility, I thought I’ll do the challenge together.

Rules for the challenge are :

1. Thank the person who have nominated you for the challenge.

2. Post 3 quotes (1 for each day) for 3 days consecutively.

3. Nominate three more bloggers for the same challenge each day.

Today’s quote:

“I know people who graduated college at 21, and didn’t get a salary job until they were 27. I know people who graduated at 25 and already had a salary job. I know people who have children and are single. I know people who are married and had to wait 8-10 years to be parents. I know people who are in a relationship and love someone else. I know people who love each other and aren’t together. There are people waiting to love and be loved. My point is, everything in life happens according to our time, our clock. You may look at your friends and some may seem to be ahead or behind you, but they’re not. They’re living according to the pace of their clock, so be patient. You’re not falling behind, it’s just not your time.”
– Julissa Loaiza

I find solace in these words by Julissa Loaiza and it couldn’t have been said any better.

This quote is a reminder that we are all living life according to our own pace and to compare ourselves to the successes or failures of others is futile. In simple words, life is not a race and there are no winners or losers.

Just live life your way, at your own pace!

Today’s nominees:

Have a great day!

  5. Great thought. I find we are constantly moving into a space we have opened up for ourselves according to our consciousness. If it were any different we would never learn anything from this life.
